The Cards Players Prefer Pedro Gomez

Yeah check out this story about all the attention that our boys are getting:

Some Bald Dude's column

Just ignore the homosexual undertones of the author who clearly prefers men (he must be from St. Louis), and focus on the fact that Erin Andrews can't get enough of the boys in blue in Chitown. That's what I'm talking about, the Cubs are making such a splash on the national scene this season that even dumb hot broads are noticing.

Yawn...

Another day, another dominating performance from the Northsiders. The Cubbies laid it on from the very first inning and never relented, crushing the Brewers 7-2. No need to even bother with the details, it was the same story its been the entire season: Cubs bats crushing it, Cubs pitching shutting it down. Is it possible to give the Cy Young to an entire pitching staff??

It'd be nice if that collection of cheese eating faggots could actually show up tonight and make at least one of these games interesting, but I wouldnt count on it with my boy R-Har taking the mound. Winning is never boring, but watching Ryan Braum strike out every time he steps out of the dugout is getting a repetitive. Hey Braum!! You suck!!!!

Big day today folks!! Trade deadline is at 1pm EST. Your boys in Cubbie Blue look to be all set, but hopefully this Manny to the Marlins deal gets done so we can infuse some more talent in the NL, which is proving to be a joke of a league this year. Always fun to watch the other clubs lose their shit at the deadline and scramble around in an effort to keep up with the Cubbies.

Cubbies in the spotlight tonight!!

For those of you unlucky enough to live outside of the greater-Chicago TV viewing area, ESPN is serving you up a treat right now.  Cubs-Brewers is the national game of the night, in what many are billing as a preview of the 2008 NLCS.  Smarter people, like myself, simply view it as a match up between the soon-to-be 2008 World Champion Cubs and some shitty team from Wisconsin that nobody cares about.  Full report after the game, including a best estimate of how many fucking pounds Prince Fielder weighs.  Jesus Christ dude, take it easy.

GO CUBS!!!!!!!

7-1

Wow! That is all I can say this morning. You know, you listen to these idiots on ESPN like Buck Showalter tell you that the Brewers can hang with the Cubs and may even be better off for the rest of the season, and it actually makes you a little nervous. Then Tuesday night happens...

Hey Blow-walter!!!! How do you like the Through-Crew now, dickface??!? 3 game back baby, and with the way that pitiful excuse for a club played last night, that lead must seem like about the size of Lake Michigan.

And what else can be said about Big Z?? The man just gets it done. 8 innings, 9 strikeouts, 0 runs, a bases loaded RBI, and one broken bat over his knee. Are you fucking kidding me?!? Skip the formalities and give the man his Cy Young now!! Also, big ups to A-Ram for a more than solid 4-5 performance at the plate, although that might not be that hard against Sheets, who at this point looks like he'd have a hard enough time cracking the New Trier JV team, let alone pitching to the likes of the Chicago Cubs

Back with more later, going to savor this one for awhile. It's days like this when the windy city air smells a little sweeter and the Lou's pie tastes that much better. What a fucking team!! Enjoy the day folks!!!

Zambrano comes up hugggeeee

The other day I got in an argument about Carlos Zambrano with a Brewers fan about whether he gets too emotional on the mound during games. And I said, yeah, he may have passion for the game, does that frighten you? So what? That's just because your tiny little bandwagon fanbase isn't used to people actually caring about baseball. It's hard for him to argue with me now that the Cubbie fans have taken over Miller Park two nights in a row, turning the Brew Crew into the Blue Crew.

And isn't it weird how the Cubs have flipped it on the Brewers? Milwaukee had the upper hand last time in Wrigley, and now the Cubs crush them on their home field.

What a day!!!

Cubs-6, Brewers-4.  I can't think of a better or more exciting time to be launching Sons of Sandberg.  What a finish last night!!!  I usually hate when this cliche is used, but that really had the feel of October baseball in July.  Plus it was all the more sweet to hand that fat-ass C.C. Sabathia his first loss in the NL.  Or is it C C this week?  Just decide already you idiot.

Tonight should be another epic battle.  You have the man I believe should take home the Cy Young this season, Carlos "Big-Z" Zambrano, taking on that fairy Ben Sheets.  Hey Sheets!!! Why don't you go get another ear infection?!?  The DL misses you, faggot.

Unfortunately I think the Brew Crew are here to stay for the season.  God I hate the fucking Brewers.  Almost as much as I hate that cheater Ankiel.  Alright, almost time for the first pitch, see you guys after the game!!!

Bleacher Bums Unite!!!

Welcome everyone to Sons of Sandberg!!!  This site will be dedicated to the greatest fucking team of all time, in any sport:  the Chicago Cubs!!!  We are just getting started, but please check back daily as we will be updating the site constantly.  Your experts from the North-side here bleed Cubbie blue, and that is going to show each and every day.  GO CUBS!!!!!!!!!!
